GetSolar Residential Referral Program

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Referral Program (“Program”) administered by GetSolar Sdn Bhd (“GetSolar”). By participating in the Program, Referrer and Referee agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

The Program is open to individuals who:

  • Reside in Malaysia; and
  • Have received a valid referral code from GetSolar via email, WhatsApp, or other official GetSolar communication channels.

Referrer are not required to be existing GetSolar customers.

This Program is applicable only to residential solar projects. Referrals for commercial or industrial solar installations are ineligible under this Program and may be subject to a separate reward scheme.

Qualified Referrals

A Referee shall be deemed a “Qualified Referral” only if all the following conditions are satisfied:

  • The Referee completes the GetSolar online solar assessment tool (https://calculator.getsolar.ai/en-MY/) using the Referrer’s referral code;
  • The Referee enters into a solar installation agreement with GetSolar under the Rent-To-Own program;
  • The system is installed at a landed residential property located in Malaysia;
  • The system is successfully commissioned by GetSolar; and
  • The Referee is at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of Malaysia.

Referee who complete the online solar assessment prior to receiving a referral code may still qualify, provided:

  • They have not received a formal sales proposal from GetSolar; and
  • A valid referral code is submitted before the proposal is issued.

Referrer Rewards

A one-time cash reward of RM100 (“Reward”) will be issued to the Referrer for each Qualified Referral.

The Reward will be disbursed only after successful commissioning of the referred solar system. No Reward will be granted for projects that are cancelled, withdrawn, or not commissioned.

The Reward is not subject to Sales and Service Tax (SST). GetSolar reserves the right to modify the value or form of the Reward at any time without prior notice.

Program Participation

To participate:

  • The Referral must input the Referrer’s referral code in the designated field during the online assessment process.
  • By submitting the code, the Referral confirms they have obtained the Referrer’s consent to use it.

Referrer must refer only genuine individuals who meet eligibility criteria.

  • Self-referrals or fictitious submissions are prohibited.
  • Each Referral may be referred by only one Referrer. In the event of multiple submissions, the first valid entry received by GetSolar shall prevail.

Limitations

  • Rewards are non-transferable and may not be auctioned, traded, bartered, or sold.
  • Only one Reward will be given per successful residential project installation.
  • This Program may not be combined with any other GetSolar promotion or campaign.
  • Referrer may refer multiple individuals, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Verification and Disqualification

GetSolar reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its sole discretion, including (but not limited to) cases of:

  • Non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions;
  • Failure to include required disclosures as instructed by GetSolar; or
  • Violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Content Use

GetSolar may use general information and non-identifiable imagery related to the solar installation for marketing or publicity purposes. Personal or sensitive data will not be disclosed without express consent.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia. The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for any disputes arising under these Terms.

Waiver and Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any breach shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Program and supersede any prior communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

Modifications to Terms and Conditions

GetSolar reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or revise these Terms, the Reward, and/or Program mechanics at any time without prior notice. In the event of inconsistency, the interpretation most favorable to GetSolar shall prevail to the extent permitted by law.

Reward Disbursement Timeline

Referral Rewards will be processed within 30 business days following successful commissioning of the referred solar system. Payment will be made via bank transfer or DuitNow, based on Referrer-provided account details.

Data Privacy

By participating in the Program, participants consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data for Program administration purposes, in accordance with GetSolar’s Privacy Policy.

Agreement

By participating in the Program, Referrer and Referee confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
